Our highest-volume friction disc set, made by bonding a paper-based cork-blend lining to a 65Mn steel core and then grinding both faces to 3.0 mm. Friction coefficient is held between 0.13 and 0.16 μ for the whole set, so a replacement set restores original bite instead of feeling weak or grabby. Choose this when the discs are worn but the basket, hub and springs are still good.
