Worn basket slots create notches that stop the friction discs from sliding, which is what produces the classic "grabbing" clutch. Our basket is machined from Q345B steel with hardened tooth flanks and a maximum radial runout of 0.08 mm, restoring smooth plate movement. Ring gear teeth are induction-hardened to HRC 35–40 for long primary-drive life.
